Lovely job and very neat dressing, LG |\

By the way, I too get some of those annoying straggly ends at the head of the fly and have found this tool to be fantastic:

Thanks for that Steff. Does the cauteriser tool you recommend not run the risk of fire with your very generous use of superglue on your own fly heads? I wouldn't want to burn my house down. I will however give your suggestion a try and report back with my findings.

To be honest I use it to tidy up before finishing the heads, then not running any risk |\

It just burns away annoying little ends that you can never get at, even with the sharpest and slimmest of scissors.

I found it very useful, always nice to have a new piece of kit to play around with anyway :>

        TT.

I do actually have one Steff just never use it unless I am tying flies for charities, punters or demonstrations. These are just fishing flies for a sortie way , way way up north next week.

            Got you |\

Makes sense and obviously nothing at all wrong with the dressing; I wasn't criticising I can assure you.

            Tight lines,
