    Hi to all,

Although this is a sea trout forum I am looking for some advice on how, what, and when are the best conditions to fish the usk. I have just have my application approved for the isca club. Any advice would be greatly appreciated I will only fishing in the evening during the week as I am working in Newport for the summer and will be fishing the Towy and taf on the weekends.

    Many thanks in advance

    Mintylad.

Its all tidal water, good shrimp worm and spinning, fishes best in low water when the tides not in there, salmon tend to bolt straight through if theres any water on, but in dry spells, one of the best salmon holding spots in wales!
