  • Veniard Epoxy Eyes

    Has anyone used the above?

I have just attached some 3mm epoxy eyes on a 10mm needle tube and the outcome is quite incredible!

Has anyone used them and if so, did you use superglue or varnish, to retain them in place?

    Regards, Holly.

Bass love them. Epoxy is better for securing them.
    Tight lines!

      Hi Holly,

they can make a great addition to the head of tube flies and are a welcome distraction from jungle cock...

However, I would urge you to check out the following:

      http://www.funkyflytying.co.uk/shop/.../tab-eyes/257/

They are MUCH easier to work with, achieve the same thing and create less bulk on the head. Attaching standard eyes can be a pain and you will often find the eyes coming off after a few casts or the eye peeling from the base.

      TT.
