Very very nice season for us,in Arques river.Many,many fishs,5 or 6 for one session by day,not very good by night.
This afternoon,between 17hoo and 18 hoo ,4 fishs chatched ,one release

You must be the closest French river to us! Do you get many british coming over to fish?

Wondering if i am going the wrong way as you are much closer!

Good evening,
very bad year of 2009 to us in France.
No water ,no stream ,few big fishes.
Nevertheless, beautiful migrations but sporadic ,and fishes were in a big hurry.
Of rather bad results generally.

Thanks for the post ZigZag and for keeping in contact. Sorry to hear about your season in France with the sea-trout, let's hope for a better one next year. What are the annual catches on these rivers you refer to? How many sea-trout do they produce? And what would you say are their average size? Would be interesting to compare with ours.
