I gave it a go about 4 years ago XL50. Loved the experience, but the fishing was very, very tough, sadly. Would love to give it a go again one day. They usually get great garfish fishing too, which are superb sport.
This site was a huge help for me before the trip:

Good work XL50 |\ we'll have to get some tips from you I think!! That's a good pass to acheive so early in the season!
I'll be honest XL50, if I were looking at going back there again I would really look at their river systems too, which seem to be relatively lightly fished. All these fish must eventually eneter these rivers, so they must get jam packed with fish at some stage, especially with the amount of sea trout they release through the hatcheries.

guys,
here is a website me and my father got off of a local tackle dealer when we visited copenhagen. he also told us that ther is a river in denmark that the average weight of sea-trout is 13lbs so i would say that the river systems in denmark are well worth a bash.

Also i know that the guys that fish in the sea for sea-trout minly use shrimp patterns as apose to fry like most of us do.

I fished Fyn a couple of years back, waded for miles in waist deep water. Took a few sea trout to about 3lbs on a pink shrimp pattern.
The reason these patterns are good is that the water is absolutely chocca with shrimp. A local shrimp catcher asked us if we would like some for tea. He left a 3 gallon bucket full he had just caught, on the doorstep!
A good place to go is the Fishiing and hunting show at Odense in the spring, loads of advise and gear inc all the latest flies.

I have been back to Denmark for a spot of fishing and a visit to the Outdoor show.
The show has dropped the fishing element since I last went but as a hunting show was great, as I also hunt Denmark and Sweden.
The fishing scene for sea trout was as vibrant as ever, it seems to have got more popular and produce better fishing than when I last went.
Thats not to say its easy but there are fish to be had round the whole of Funen, I caught a few some small some a bit better and we bumped into quite a few people who had caught.
I caught this one on one of the archipelago spits on the south of the island.
We found a good tackle shop who gave us great advise and was next door to the best bakery I have ever been to.
