        cheers lads|\

I have just joined a sea fishing club so I will concentrate more on the sea this year rather than the river.~:.

Well done, I used to float fish a lot there.

I too will be giving the sewin a miss this year, planning a lot more SWFFing and also using my little baitcasters.

I won't be neglecting the brownies though.

Cracking Huss. Stackpole is a fantastic looking place, never fished it but told by a spear fisherman that there are plenty of bass.

This year I really want to catch a mullet on the fly and a double figure bass swffing. Not too much to ask :@

              Definitely not asking much,

Mullet, there are enough places locally so thats achievable.

10lb bass ,mm, might be pushing it.

Cefn Sidan usually has an early run of bass too, sometimes as early as March, water might be a bit murky for the fly though so it may well be a bait job.

                      Too true,

The mullet were along all the beaches last year in big quantities and I never even bothered ::/

Which club have you joined then, Carmarthen Sea Anglers?

its called the P.M's and is part of the south west regions and there first meeting is tonight to pick the venues for the year.

I will still be fishing the river in the week as I only have a 3 min drive to the junction pool of the Gwili/Towy but as for the weekends it will be nearly all sea fishing.
