  • Wildfowling in North East Scotland

    If anyone is interested in wildfowling in the noreth east of scotland one of my friends (John Lewis) has a shooting buisnesss. He is a BASC registered Guide and can take parties of up to 6 guns Starting ont the 1st September until 1st January. He can offer walked up rough shooting for pheasants, partridge, woodcock and snipe along with duck and goose morning and evening flights. He has shooting 3/4 of a mile from the Loch of Strathbeg RSPB Nature Reserve (12 miles noth of Peterhead) which bosts more than 20% of Britains population of pinkfoot geese roosting on it during the season and ground just 500yds from Meikle Loch (16 miles south of Peterhead) which backs on to the Newbugh Eastury, they can have over 12,000 geese roosting on it during the season. All ground is within a 25mile radius of Peterhead.

    If anyone is interested please respond asap to get best dates for season 2010-2011.

      TT, yeah just a bit away but well worth the trip, John had been goose guiding in the north east since 1996.
