Vass waders

Has anyone tried the Vass brand of waders advertised by Gary Evans and if so what is the quality like.Had a trip to the river today for the first time with a brand new pair of ocean 700 waders and had 2 wet legs with leaks at both boot top joints -what has happened to ocean quality had my other pair for 15 years these lasted 15 minutes only plus point got my first sea trout of the year thanks for any replies in advance moonlighter

I bought a pair last season off ebay, I think I give £40

im 6 '1 and found them to short in the leg and the crotch was to low
if that makes sense?
even though I checked size before the purchase

I ripped them on barbed wire the very 1st time I used them::/

I would say if possible try them on before you buy.
personally i'll stick with breathable waders

i recently bought the the vass supanova 740 evo with studded soles after hearing good recommendation by a few anglers that fish all kinds of terrian apart from having to buy the next shoe size up from my usual 9's i find them very a good quality and well made they are also a bit looser fitting than i'm used to but i don't mind that either as im skinny anyway

I thought that the low crotch was the in thing these days.
Well I see them up and down the high streets anyway.

Vass used to make the ocean waders until they decided to use someone else so Vass started making them under the new name.
Spot on waders imho.
