one of those that do 'look' better with a treble and a round bend one at that. For a quality one you will find the owner narrow eye hard to beat; very strong and sticky sharp. A bit pricey though. The code would be STN 36 BC. You may struggle to get the smaller sizes now though. If not, I would probably go with the Kamasan B990.
Having said that, not a huge fan of waddingtons. May be worth exploring one of these options:

I bloody love em! But only in small sizes (up to an inch long). It can be difficult finding trebles for the smaller shanks without unbalancing the fly...
Thanks gents, its the smaller sizes i was thinking of to get down a little deeper? i bought a few a couple of seasons back that were about 2 inches long and a bit overdressed for my liking! af(eser a trim seemed to work well(especialy for big brownies)
thanks again Andy

I have been experimenting with using shrink tubing to tie snake flies in conjunction with hollow braid ie making the mount then covering with the shrink tubing to stiffen them up,where do you source your shrink tube as mine came from a local tackle shop and it was very limited and I would like to expand this further.
the kamasan b990 s have worked well for me for years .threading the leader through both eyes of the shankk then slipping some silicone tubing over.the only problem Ive had with the 990 s is that they are swine to unhook from your net in the dark ,moonlighter
