Fishing Tidal Streches

Hi,

My local river is the Western Cleddau in Pembrokeshire, l would like to give the tidal streches a bash.

Currently it is tidal up to a man made wear and from then it it is fresh water so quite unlike some of the pools which l hear JohnE mention.

Any suggestions on how l should approach?

Any tips would be much appreciated.
