Have been tying like a mad man for my trip to the Rio Grande in February/March. Really can't wait. I am on nearly 200 flies already in my new batch, which is more than I have tied for years.
Anyway, have been spending far too much money on tying gear and experimenting with lots of new stuff. Have come across a few bargains though, including the following link for hooks. If you're after strong single hooks then look no further! Most at £4.99 for 100 hooks including postage!

The following would make a great tube fly single hook, or inverted stinger (like on this link: http://www.sea-trout.co.uk/showthread.php?t=639):

Note; if you want a size 8 then go for a size 6 with these, slightly smaller than e.g. kamasan. Would make a nice worming hook too.
Or these for standard longshank patterns:

Note; not as long as some of the longshanks you may be familiar with, more of a mid shank if such a thing exists. Sizing is pretty accurate - perhaps go with a size 4 if you want a size 6 - slightly undersized again if you're familiar with kamasan.
TT.
