I have again been indulging in minor tinkering with my aubergine hen cape. Stick in front of a tiger stripe zonker strip I am fairly happy with the result. When wet the pattern takes on a whole new dimension

Hook: Partridge Code P size 6
Thread: Black
Tag and rib: Medium gold wire
Feelers: Sunburst boar bristles
Body: Rear half holographic silver tinsel. Front half black floss
Wing: Hareline Dubbing tiger stripe zonker strip overlaid with 2 doubled strands of fine mother of pearl tinsel
Hackle: Aubergine dyed hen saddle
Cheeks: Jungle cock
