Having tied up some of these for some mates both they and I are having some surprising success with this curious pattern of late.

Thread: Black
Tag: Glo Brite Floss No3
Tail: Golden pheasant crest
Body: Black silk
Rib: Fine silver wire
Hackle: Scarlet dyed hen
Wing: Black dyed calf tail overlaid with 2 strands of fine pearl tinsel
Cheeks: Jungle cock


I hasten to add for salmon and not for sea trout
