Lovely fly johnevs. Is that one for Sewin or salmon? I'm planning to tie up some sea trout doubles after shopping at BFFI in a few weeks. What materials did you use?Comment

It's a davie mcphail pattern which is the body of a normal cascade black floss and silver tinsel then a false hackle of yellow and orange on the underside and the same on top of the wing which on this iv left out and used a couple of strands of gold flash on top of the fox tail wing and the tail is orange and yellow golden crest feather which i dont hAve a orange one so iv used orange hen. But if you go on YouTube he's got the full dressing on one of his videos, I think this will do quite well for seatrout in coloured water
I think some peacock feather on top and some jc and it could finish it off quite nice
