It is on the Saturday 2nd of March 2013,

Hi Glyn, Yes from what i have been told, a good number of trade stands.

the likes of Steve of Cookshill, plus John always has a good show of goods.
Plus a lot of the local tiers.

Welsh Fly Fair

Had a great day out yesterday at the Welsh Fly Fair.
This was a well organised and attended event and well worth the effort of travelling up to from Cardiff.
Met Dai Jones who spent time to explain the methods he uses to construct his famous snake flies. It was refreshing to note that he was so honest in his approach to the subject and willing to share his vast knowledge with visiting fishermen/ fly tiers. Thanks Dai.
The icing on the cake for me though was chatting to Moc Morgan. We first met in the 1960's on a fly fishing course on Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) and I still have a fly he tied for me using just his fingers and thumb. A true fishing legend and an honour to meet him again.

Good to learn that it was a success this year and that more planning went into it. It is needed in Wales, so long may it continue. |\

Was John Graham in attendance? Worth the admittance fee on its own if he was.
