Ohooooooo I can SOOOO understand. Beautiful (and bullet proof) equipment.

Actually knew Grant King (and his machinist) back in the mid-80's. Grumpy old Koot, but he knew his stuff. Grant had two two fly shops, one in Santa Rosa, CA the other down on the lower Russian River (Nor-Cal) in Gurneville (sp?). He was usually in the Gurnville (try that spelling~# - spell checker says 'no joy) shop holding 'sway' with his version of what was going on .. on the river .. etc.

That said, knowing the background of 'his dream 'vise' was a hell of a story. Grant's long gone, but his "Idea"|\ still 'Rules.'
